Privacy Policy for Drone Fleet
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Drone Fleet mobile application (the "App") handles information. Drone Fleet is a tool for managing drone fleets, batteries, flights, maintenance, and incidents. By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Summary
- •The App does not require registration and does not collect account credentials (email, password, etc.) in the current version.
- •All primary fleet data is stored locally on your device.
- •The App does not transmit your fleet data to the developer's servers in the current version.
- •The App contains no advertising and does not use third-party analytics SDKs.
- •Camera and photo library access is requested only when you add photos of drones or incidents.
- •Report export (PDF, Excel) and file sharing occur only when you initiate them through your device's system dialogs.
Data We Process
- •Data you provide: Drone data (name, brand, model, serial number, status, type, flight hours, etc.); Battery data (name, serial number, capacity, voltage, cycles, health, manufacture date, etc.); Flight records (drone, duration, distance, dates, pilot, notes, post-flight check results); Incident records (description, type, severity, linked drone, location, notes); Maintenance and completed task data; Photos of drones and incidents (optional); App settings (e.g. interface language).
- •This data may include personal or commercially sensitive information if you choose to enter it (e.g. pilot names, serial numbers, incident descriptions).
- •On-device technical data: The App may store locally the app version (shown in Settings) and bundled configuration files (drone and battery brand/model catalogs).
- •Data we do not collect: In the current version, the App does not collect name, email, phone number, or other account identifiers; precise location (GPS); advertising identifiers; usage data for third-party analytics; or payment data (in-app purchases are not available).
Where Data Is Stored
- •Local storage: All fleet data is stored on your device — structured data in the app's local storage (SharedPreferences) and photos in the app's documents directory on the device.
- •Data is not synced to the developer's cloud in the current version.
- •Deleting data: In Settings, the Clear all data feature removes locally stored fleet records (drones, batteries, flights, incidents, maintenance, etc.).
- •Individual photo files may remain on the device until you remove them by editing the related record or uninstalling the App.
- •You can also remove all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.
Device Permissions
- •Camera — Take a photo of a drone or incident.
- •Photo library — Choose an existing image.
- •The App does not use these permissions in the background without your action.
Sharing and Export
- •The App allows you to generate reports (PDF, Excel) for your drone or battery fleet and print or share files through Android/iOS system features.
- •In these cases, you choose who receives the file. The developer does not control and does not receive copies of exported files.
Third Parties
- •The App does not share your fleet data with third parties for marketing or profiling.
- •Google (Android) or Apple (iOS) system services may process technical information under their own privacy policies when you use the app store, OS updates, or system share features.
Security
- •We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures, but no method of storage is completely secure.
- •Because data is stored locally, device security (PIN, biometrics, encryption) is important to protect information in the App.
Children
- •The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
- •If you believe a child has provided data through the App, contact us and we will help you remove it from the device.
Your Rights
- •Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU users), you may have the right to obtain information about data processing; correct or delete data (locally through the App); restrict or object to processing (by stopping use of the App); and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
- •Because data is stored on your device, most requests can be fulfilled directly in the App or by uninstalling it.
Changes to This Policy
- •We may update this Policy when new features are added (e.g. cloud sync, accounts, or in-app purchases).
- •The updated version will be published with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
